Television and Creative Media
Today I am very comfortable in front of television cameras, having been involved in dozens of productions of all sizes over the years. I have a developed a range of media skills, whether I am presenting to camera or playing a trickshot on demand – I have the experience to get the job done. (I am known in the business as ‘one-take’ Daking!)
I also have lots of experience at all stages of the creative process. From initial concepts, through script writing and designing trickshots – I have performed a whole range creative tasks for Television, Internet and Book projects.

Steve’s skills as a pool player are there for all to see, but his qualities as a Television Presenter are equally impressive! His confidence and ability to genuinely engage both the participants and the audience really sets him apart from so many others. As a natural entertainer he’s quick thinking and creative under pressure, whist managing too keep everything light hearted and fun on the day. Corporate Entertainment
Entertaining at the MP’s Pool Competition at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster.
A cue sports event is a great way to entertain your clients and colleagues! Bring the spirit of the crucible to your company with a traditional challenge and trickshot evening. In the first half of the show I challenge a selection of your guests to a frame of pool. Everyone gets a head start so has a real chance to pinch a frame from me! The players can be drawn randomly on the night or selected in advance.
In the second half of the show I perform my world class Comedy Trickshot routine. This part involves lots of audience participation, and will leave your guests amazed and amused. It’s an event that people remember for a very long time.
This event can be tailored to most venues and any size audience. I can use any venue with a pool table already installed, or we can bring a whole show – pool table, arena, sound, lighting & video screens.
 We were joined in the evening by Steve Daking – Corporate Entertainer also known as ‘the Pro with the Show’ . Steve is a world champion pool player and award winning entertainer who brought a unique blend of comedy, trickshots and magic to the evening. Everyone was able to take part regardless of their standard of play and it proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Again I would highly recommend Steve to my fellow Chairs particularly for their retreats.

Stage Show
On a stage the trickshot show can become bigger and bolder. Using big screens, everyone gets a first class view of some of the worlds greatest trickshots played live.
The show is not just a collection of shots though, it encompasses everything you would expect from an award winning stage production – there is comedy, audience participation and quick witted improvisation. The show can run for up to 90 minutes, usually with an interval. As our stage set is mobile and can quickly be moved on and off stage, this show is also suitable for guest spots. For example, I can perform 15 minute segments as part of an awards show, or perhaps a 30 minute set as a warm-up for another act.
