Hustling for Business

If you are exhibiting at a tradeshow, you need something to draw the traffic, so it’s important to incorporate some sort of attraction into your stand.

Pool works very well in this environment. It’s something that is instantly recognisable, but also something that delegates are not expecting to see – unless it is a cue sports convention!

The pool table doesn’t take up a lot of room, and visitors to your stand can play without having to wear any special clothing or working up a sweat!

In fact many people use the pool table as a chance to take a break from walking around the rest of the show. As people play, more people stop to watch. So a pool table gives you an opportunity to meet potential clients who would have normally walked past your stand.

The interest in the pool table is amplified many times if I am playing on the table or performing trickshots.

As well as demonstrating my cue skills, I also use a radio microphone to draw in the crowd, explain the shots and create interest in your stand and products.

I can also supply experienced assistants who mingle among the crowd and invite people to play.

This is a great way to harvest business cards giving you leads to follow up after the show.

Another great way to generate leads is to offer prizes and run a pool challenge throughout the show.

We can help you to design a competition and provide official rules plus terms and conditions. This can also create some valuable post show publicity in trade magazines as the winners are presented with their prizes.

We have staged successful events at all the major UK exhibition centres. Earls Court, Olympia, Excel, NEC and many other smaller venues.

If you are planning to exhibit, contact us and let our pool event stop the footfall for you.  It's no use having a great stand if everyone walks by!

A competition to promote your company or brand

Pool is one of the UK’s most popular sports. If you are looking to promote your company or brand to people that fall into the cue sports demographic, then a pool event can be very effective. It has the potential to reach players in their local venues, and can still be a national event.

The event is media friendly and if managed correctly can generate a good level of publicity, both in cue sports and local media.

For sponsors, pool is also good value for money. There are very few sports that can boast millions of players while still having relatively low prize money – even at professional level. Therefore you don’t need a massive budget to create awareness within the pool community.

Events can be staged over many months, involving hundreds of venues and thousands of pool players, all the time creating publicity for you and your products.

We have extensive experience of running events of all sizes, and provide a full service. Everything from designing the event, producing posters, entry forms, writing press releases – we have the resources to pull it all together and make your event a stunning success.
